Dream Team Action Sports was founded by Keith Schmidt as a project to fuse his two passions, professional BMX and stuntwork. Keith grew up in the small town of Lock Haven, PA where he cultivated his talents in BMX stunts. After experiencing a local BMX show at his school, he was quickly inspired to pursue the sport as a hobby and future career. Neither he nor his peers anticipated just how far from home his "little kid bike" would take him. 

 

"I have competed and done stunt demonstrations as far as Estonia and even India, as well as getting to place my tires on many NFL fields and NBA courts doing halftime shows throughout the USA,'' Keith recalls referencing his success in BMX, "it's really a dream come true." 

 

Recently, in 2014, Keith's BMX career gave him the opportunity to dabble in a new thrilling medium. He was offered the opporunity to join SAG-AFTRA, a stuntwork and acting union which led him to his first leading stuntwork role. Now, Keith balances his professional BMX career with his new passion for stunts and acting as well as managing Dream Team Action Sports. Keith plans to take DTAS around the world, and give up-and-coming athletes the same opportunities to grow, just as he has for the past 7 years of performing around the world.
